If you have been feeling down for two or more weeks, have been isolating from others, have trouble enjoying normal activities, tearful spells, excessive tiredness, difficulty sleeping, or other depressive symptoms, additional assessment and intervention by a mental health professional could be helpful.

Many people who experience depression have a difficult time with motivation, which includes getting out of the house. Virtual therapy is able to meet people where they are -- both literally and figuratively! Many individuals find it helpful to talk within the comfort of their own home. Additionally, it cuts down on the added effort and time of driving, has convenient scheduling times, and convenient for booking new sessions and paying bills. Not to mention, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as in-person therapy for certain issues.
